IVY CHANEL: "IVY LIKE THE VINE & CHANEL LIKE THE PERFUME!"

US-born of African-American, French, and Indigenous Native American heritage, Ivy Chanel has established herself on the International music scene as a singer-songwriter, producer, dancer, vocal coach, and now an author of considerable talent and fame. She is the founder of Ivy Chanel Limited, an entertainment company that supports and prepares emerging and established artists worldwide. She first started singing at age 5, and as with so many great performers, in her early years, she honed her craft singing in her choir as lead vocalist back home at Mt. Zion CME Church in Sharon Hill, PA. Since then, her soulful, melodic voice has been heard in numerous high-profile settings around the World. Her musical collaborators include Grammy award-winning Scratch Professer, Curtis Richardson, Q-tip, MBE Soul legend singer Omar, and Mo Pleasure (Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire). In addition, she has appeared with her brother, the legendary DJ Cash Money, and shared the stage with Roy Ayers, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, and Pharoahe Monch. She has worked throughout the UK, USA, UAE, and Europe, including performances for President Clinton and Tony Blair on an impressive CV.

Now residing in the UK, Ivy is no stranger to the scene here, having won the "Best Compilation 2005 Award" at the UMA's (Ivy's vocals feature on the lead single 'It's a Music Thing' – Union Black). In addition, she sang as an honouree member of the IDMC Gospel Choir (2013 UK Mobo Awards Nominee/Best Gospel Act). In 2012, she released 'Wind Blows,' which hit number 1 on Amazon's UK New Release Chart and was included in Giles Peterson's 'Brownswood Bubbler Seven' compilation album. As a vocal coach, Simon Cowell recognized her talents as a big fan of Ivy's voice and tutoring skills. She has worked with numerous performers on X-Factor, Britain's Got Talent, The Voice in the UK, and equivalent shows in mainland Europe and the USA. In addition, she performed at prestigious Night Clubs and Festivals such as The Global Gathering, Lovebox, Nottinghill Carnival, Sadlers Wells Theatre, Café de Paris, Jazz Café, Koko's (London), 606 Jazz Club, Boisdale (Canary Wharf-London), Scala, and Hideaway Jazz and Comedy Club. She also performed for The Haven Charity Event, St. Giles in the Field, and was the lead singer of Mo Pleasure's Band on his UK and European Tour from 2016 - 2019, Miss Hoodoo and The Delta Boys. Ivy is currently one of the lead singers for C + C Music Factory, Three Styles Jazz, The Milestones Band, UK R&B Band Loose Ends, and her live band touring Euro
pe and Asia. You get the idea; she's fantastic, very respected, and in-demand (Colourful Radio listeners nominated Ivy Chanel for the 2018 Colourful Radio-Bright Star Award for The Best Live Experience Category for her show at Hideaway in Feb 2018...)!

Ivy's heritage is a big part of who she is as an artist. She represents her Indigenous Native American roots as strongly as her African American ones, introducing her audiences to one of the entertainment industry's oldest but least represented nations. But, as she says, "There's so much more to our story, past and present. I wish to be a conduit for greater awareness and understanding".

Ivy Chanel's musical works are available on all digital outlets. In addition, both videos are on her YouTube Channel. It has been well received, with over 100,000 + views worldwide. MBE UK Soul Legend Omar Lyefook produced this song. " It was written by Mo Pleasure, Omar Lyefook, and Ivy Chanel. Lyrics, written by Grammy Award Winner Curtis Richardson & Ivy Chanel.

"Ivy Chanel is utterly charming with an endearing love for her craft. As one would perhaps expect from a sought-after vocal coach, her vocal control and ease were tremendous.

She has a voice of thick cream."
